FileOptimizer

FileOptimizer provides support for JPEG, BMP, EXE, TGZ, DOC, PGM, PCX, and many other file formats (a list is available below). Say you take some JPEG images and load them into the application. Once the files are loaded, just press a button and FileOptimizer will process and optimize them. From the Options menu you can select the optimization level the application will use when it processes the JPEG files.

FileOptimizer is available as an installer and as a portable version.
FileOptimizer works with Microsoft’s Windows operating system, 32 as well as 64-bit versions of the OS.
When you launch FileOptimizer, it will automatically look for updates and it will tell you if any updates are available. It will not automatically download updates though. You will be directed to the official FileOptimizer webpage; links to get the latest release are available on the webpage.

At the top of the application’s interface there’s a ribbon that features a button to add files, a button to open the Options menu, a button to start optimizing files, and so on. As expected, the ribbon can be minimized.
Underneath the ribbon there’s a central panel; load some files into FileOptimizer and they will be presented as a list.
